Cars.com heads back to the Big Game with Super Bowl XLVII Ad Buy. This year, their ad can be seen during Super Bowl for the sixth year in a row. The new ad will air during the first quarter of the game.
Commercial that will be posing a question, “why drama,” is the first big commercial for Cars.com all-new advertising campaign. Linda Bartman (Cars.com’s Chief Marketing Officer) says that this campaign is meant to promote the idea of how car dealers can help the shoppers have easier buying experience, without drama. And they believe the message will work well with the car shoppers. Or as she put it, “We have heard from car shoppers that buying a new car can be overwhelming, and sometimes even stressful./…/ We think this message is one that will resonate with car shoppers.”
The teasers for Cars.com Super Bowl commercial are already out and visible at www.cars.com/whydrama. But this is just the beginning of their new campaign, created by mcgarrybowen Chicago, who will be leading Cars.com’s integrated team of agencies from now on.
The new advertising campaign is intended to be a long one and the full execution is going to take more than a single year. It’s an integrated campaign involving TV, print, radio, digital and social venues.
So don’t forget to turn on your TV for Super Bowl, the sports, and all the great ads in between, on February 3rd.
Cars.com all-new advertising campaign has been created by their new advertising agency of record, mcgarrybowen Chicago.
