Video: Seatbelts are a good idea when riding shotgun on a donut-performing M3
If you’re riding shotgun on a car whose driver is performing a donut, you might want to be prudent enough to fasten your seatbelt. If you’re the daring and bold type who thinks that seatbelts reduce the element of ‘fun’, then, at the very least, try making sure that your doors are closed.
Apparently, the passenger of this donut-performing E36 BMW M3 didn’t read those memos. In fact, he probably thought that he could get away without wearing his seatbelts AND opening the door as the car was spinning both at the same time.
Turns out, he was wrong on both counts.
Continued after the jump.

Fortunately the man was OK after getting thrown out of his seat but it didn’t come without some pretty hairsplitting sight as he was pretty much inches away from getting pinned by one of the spinning rear tires of the E36. A memo to everybody who’s thinking of riding along for a donut: wear your seatbelts and close your doors. Please. Trust us; you wouldn’t want to spend the rest of your days being laughed at by millions who might end up watching your nasty s—-on the Internet. |
