Since summer 2010, Infiniti will introduce in the range 3.0 diesel V6 engine for the EX crossover, which will become the second model to benefit from new diesel units, after the FX (and before the M sedan). Coming from Renault, and available for all models with front-wheel drive or full back, the six-cylinder engine delivers 238 horsepower and 550Nm of torque, enough to push the sleek crossover at 100 km / h in just 7.9 seconds.

Consumption is expected to be contained in 8.4 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers, translated in 224 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The only gearbox available is a seven-speed automatic. The Infiniti EX30d will be marketed in three specifications, and will cannibalize the EX range buyers taking eight out of ten.
