Ken Block praised the qualities of the Ford Focus RS WRC car, on which he will start in World Rally Championship.

American Ken Block will start in the WRC Rally Mexico in early March, planning to pilot a Ford Focus RS WRC Rally Team Monster team. Block looks confident the new challenge of his career and says he was impressed by the qualities of the car produced by U.S. manufacturer.

The American had one day available to acclimatize to the car, because in the competition while competing in Rally America, and previously scheduled tests in Britain have been canceled due to heavy snow falls. Even in these conditions, Block is eager to begin the most important world rally competition.

“Unfortunately we had only 170 km of testing, approximately 10% of what I really need to be prepared for a WRC event. Is that all I had available, so I go how many km I could in one day. This is my level of training after one day of tests to debut in WRC in Mexico, “he further added.

Besides the Rally Mexico, Block will compete in the WRC this season in another six stages.
