Norwegian driver Petter Solberg purchased two copies of the Citroen C4 WRC, which are supposed to help him in the 2010 season, when he will compete for his own team.

Petter Solberg will start in 2010 at the wheel of the WRC car with which Sebastien Loeb was awarded his sixth title of his career by running a Citroen C4 WRC. The Nordic rally driver, world champion in 2003 for Subaru, will not be part of Citroen team, that’s why he bought two cars needed for the 2010 season from the motorsport division of the French manufacturer. As follows Solberg will compete under the colors of his own team, which will be called Petter Solberg World Rally Team.

“After many discussions with Citroen Racing , we reached an agreement which gives me the chance to fight for the top positions of the championship. I hope to have a complete budget by the end of next week, our next goal is to present my new team” said Solberg on its the website.
