Honda sent to court for copyright infringement

Honda was sued by Save the Earth Enterprises, a group dealing with environmental protection, because they violated copyright registration.

san-francisco-courtGroup dealing with environmental protection Save The Earth Enterprises sued Honda Motor Co. and their advertising agency, Rubin Postae after using the trademark “Save the Earth” without their permission in the latest advertising campaign for the new Honda Civic.

The dossier was submitted to the trial court in San Francisco, Save the Earth Enterprises trying to recover the profits earned by Honda in the campaign of advertising. “After the advertising campaign made by Honda, people thought we agreed that slogan or even that we affiliate with them. We haven’t done any of those two things ” said Neal Pargman officiall of the Save The Earth Enterprises.

Neal Pargman has added that the Save The Earth is a registered trademark since 1972.
