Fisichella hopes to compete for Sauber
Giancarlo Fisichella confirmed that likes to drive for Sauber Formula 1 season 2010.
Giancarlo Fisichella has a place assured at Ferrari next season as a reserve pilot, but the Italian has admitted repeatedly that allowed his team to find a place holder for the pilot starting grid.
The first opportunity arose immediately after Fisichella Sauber confirmed on the starting grid next season, as Swiss team will compete in 2010 with Ferrari engines. According to speculation, as part of the deal, expected to sign with Fisichella Sauber and the Italian admitted that he wants to.
“First of all I am happy that Sauber can compete in league and I would like to be able to work with a team they know very well. Along with Ferrari will see if this is possible,” he said at the Salon Bologna Motor.
Fisichella has raced for Sauber in the 2004 season and his performances have propelled him a year later at Renault, where he was team mate to Fernando Alonso.
